AFP-PA Welcomes VP Vance for ‘One Big Beautiful Bill’ Event
WEST PITTSTON, PA – Today, Americans for Prosperity-Pennsylvania (AFP-PA) welcomed Vice President J.D. Vance to the Keystone State ahead of his remarks in West Pittston celebrating the One Big Beautiful Bill Act.
AFP-PA State Director Emily Greene gave the following statement:
“Our activists across PA-8 helped deliver the biggest win for taxpayers in American history: the passage of the One, Big, Beautiful Bill. Our taxpayer activists stand ready and willing to work alongside Representative Rob Bresnahan to ensure that each and every resident of the 8th Congressional district know how monumental this win is.
“We’re deeply grateful to Vice President Vance and members of our Pennsylvania delegation, especially Rep. Bresnahan, for making this a reality!”
Background:
On Tuesday, AFP celebrated the legislation with a “One Big Beautiful Bash” event on Capitol Hill featuring conversations with Senate Majority Whip John Barrasso, Senator Tim Sheehy, House Majority Whip Tom Emmer, and Representative Kat Cammack.
AFP’s $20 million “Protect Prosperity” campaign in support of the bill was the single largest effort by any outside group to advance the renewal of the Tax Cuts and Jobs Act.
