Americans for Prosperity – Pennsylvania Launches Ad Campaign Applauding Reps Fitzpatrick, Bresnahan, and Mackenzie for Advancing Budget Resolution as the Next Step in Extending President Trump’s Tax Cuts

Harrisburg, Pennsylvania – Today, Americans for Prosperity – Pennsylvania (AFP-PA) launched a new digital ad campaign applauding Representatives Brian Fitzpatrick (PA-01), Rob Bresnahan (PA-08), and Ryan Mackenzie (PA-07) for voting to advance the budget resolution in the House, paving the way for Congress to extend President Trump’s 2017 Tax Cuts and Jobs Act.
AFP-PA State Director Emily Greene released the following statement:
“The House’s passage of the budget resolution brings us one step closer to protecting the crucial tax relief Pennsylvanians have counted on since 2017. Representatives Fitzpatrick, Bresnahan, and Mackenzie are standing strong for Pennsylvania’s hardworking taxpayers and small business owners by supporting policies that drive economic prosperity across the country.
“Without action, these tax cuts will expire, leaving Pennsylvania’s hardworking families and business owners to bear the brunt, with families facing an additional federal tax burden of $2,394. AFP-PA will continue to work alongside policy champions in Congress to extend President Trump’s tax cuts and ensure pro-growth tax policy remains a top priority.”
These ads are a continuation of AFP’s nationwide Tax Day campaign launched last week, and the organization’s $20 million Protect Prosperity campaign announced in January – the largest investment of any outside limited-government, pro-growth organization in support of a key pillar of President Trump’s agenda.
