AUSTIN, TX – Today, Americans for Prosperity-Texas (AFP-TX) announced its endorsement of six candidates for the Texas House of Representatives ahead of the general election on November 3 to ensure a principled majority of conservative leaders in the chamber for the 2027 legislative session.

Sam Sheetz, AFP-TX deputy state director, gave the following statement:

“Texas is poised to pass transformational policy reforms in the 90th legislative session on property taxes, energy abundance, education and more personal options in healthcare. To do that, Texas taxpayers need these policy champions in Austin.

“Our army of grassroots activists will be working around the clock from now until November 3rd talking to voters at the doors, on the phones, and at community events about the need for bold policy reforms.”

AFP-TX endorses the following candidates:

State Rep. Caroline Harris Davila (HD-52), Ellen Fleischmann (HD-96), State Rep. John McQueeney (HD-97), State Rep. Morgan Meyer (HD-108), State Rep. Angie Chen Button (HD-112), and State Rep. Marc LaHood (HD-121).
